Knowledge - Give feedback to the first term test and correct the test - Identify some main mistakes and correct these mistakes 2. Competence - Develop communication skills and creativity; - Develop critical thinking skills; - Be collaborative and supportive in pair work and team work; - Actively join in class activities. 3. Quality - Be responsible for their test; - Develop self-study skills. B. TEACHING AIDS 1. Students: - Photos 2. Teachers: - Computer connected to the Internet -Key for the Mid-term test C. TEACHING PROCEDURES I. Warm up: Listen to music (8 minutes) Objectives: - To create an active atmosphere in the class before the lesson; - To lead into the new lesson Content: Having some warm-up activities to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere to interest Ss in the lesson. Output: Students’ interest in the lesson Process: Listening to a piece of music * Teacher: - has Ss listen a piece of music to relax Students listen II. New lesson 1. Activities Redo the test Activity 1: Redo the test (20 minutes) Objective: To help students redo the test Content: redoing the test Output: Ss can do the given task Process: Page | 1
2. Re do the test * Teacher asks Ss to take turns to each part of the test Ss do as instructed. Ss compare their answers with a partner. Teacher checks the answers by asking individual Ss to write the missing words/ phrases on the board. Key: Recheck Activity 2: Recheck(12 minutes) Objectives: To provide some opportunities to check their mistakes. Content: Recheck Output: Ss know how many marks they can get Process: * Teacher: - has Ss exchange their writing and mark - calls on Ss to talk their marks one by one. Ss do as instructed. Ss exchange their answers with a partner and give marks to the test. Teacher checks and give them feedback 2. Consolidation (3 minutes) T asks: What have you learnt today? - redo the test - get the marks 3. Homework (2 minutes) - Exercises in the workbook - Prepare for Communication and Culture lesson 4.
