Knowledge - Gain an overview about the book English 10 - Get ready for the learning process - Prepare for the Projects of the 10 units 2. Competence - Be collaborative and supportive in pair work and team work; - Actively join in class activities; 3. Quality - Be able and willing to take part in the learning process B. TEACHING AIDS 1. Students: - Grade 10 textbook 2. Teachers: - Computer connected to the Internet - Projector/ TV/ pictures and cards - sachmem.vn C. TEACHING PROCEDURES I. Warm up (10 minutes) Objectives: - To create an active atmosphere in the class before the lesson; - To lead into the new lesson Content: Game: Pictionary Output: Ss feel excited and ready for the lesson Process: * T The group should be split into teams. When it’s time to play, a player on each team will get a few seconds to look at the word and begin to draw. The object is to draw the item quickly and accurately so that the players on your team can guess what you’re drawing before the other team does. Flashcards can be written and guesses made in the language you’re learning. * Ss do as instructed II. New lesson 1. Activity 1: Introduction about the book (10 minutes) Objective: Provide Ss necessary information about the book Content: Introduction about the book Output: Ss can gain an overview of the book Page | 1

Process: * T delivers the following information about the book English 10 ➢ The publisher and authors ➢ The number and topics of the units ➢ The necessary learning materials, such as notebooks, dictionaries * Ss listen and take notes if necessary 2. Activity 2: Preparations for the Project part (20 minutes) Objectives: - To get students ready for this part Content: Appointing groups of students for each unit Output: Ss can get ready for the Project part Process: * T divides the class into 10 groups, and assign the Project of one unit to each group * Ss listen and take notes if necessary 3. Consolidation (3 minutes) - T asks Ss to recall some lexical items about household chores. - T summarizes main points of the lesson. 3.
